เครื่องโฟโตมิเตอร์ (Photometer) เป็นเครื่องทดสอบคุณภาพน้ำ
จะคล้ายคลึงกับชุดทดสอบคุณภาพน้ำ แต่จะใช้หลักการ Photometer ที่ใช้แสงในการตรวจวัดสารเจือปนที่ผสมอยู่ในน้ำ เครื่องวัดคุณภาพน้ำด้วยแสงสามารถทดสอบคุณภาพน้ำได้จากทุก ๆ แหล่งน้ำ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น น้ำเสียจากโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม, น้ำจากแหล่งน้ำธรรมชาติ, สระว่ายน้ำ, น้ำประปา และน้ำสำหรับสาธารณูปโภค นอกจากนี้ยังสามารถวัดค่าได้อย่างรวดเร็วช่วยให้ประหยัดเวลาในการทำงาน
